The Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores offers you a chance to spice up your dining this winter with Succulent Seafood or “the local catch.” One might argue that there is no catch to “the local catch” but that could get confusing.
This is a good deal! Succulent Seafood is your chance to visit the area’s top restaurants and get tips and seafood preparation techniques straight from people who are true experts at cooking local seafood. The Chefs share thier favorite recipes and personal insights on how to prepare fish, shellfish, and crustaceans. The best part? Well it’s the taste test of the day’s featured cuisine, of course.
Aquarium staff members will be on hand to tell you a bit about the seafood being prepared. But take heart, this is about things like life cycles and habitats, not names, birthdays, and personal anecdotes about the little fellow on the plate.
This fun, interesting, and tasty activity is for folks who are at least 12 years old. It costs only $15 per person per session. The taste test alone is worth more than that! Advance registration (252-247-4003 for more information) is required so plan ahead because these sessions fill up fast. Advance registration is required. Call for more information.
